La philosophie qui a conduit l’entreprise \u00e0 \u00e9tablir une relation particuli\u00e8re avec le monde de l’art contemporain est r\u00e9sum\u00e9e dans le concept grec de kalokagath\u00eca : un mot qui r\u00e9unit les termes kal\u00f2s (ce qui est beau) et agath\u00f2s (ce qui est bon) pour cr\u00e9er un nouveau sens dans lequel la beaut\u00e9 et la bont\u00e9 deviennent une seule et m\u00eame chose, chacune d\u00e9pendant de l’autre. Il en r\u00e9sulte un id\u00e9al digne d’\u00eatre poursuivi : la combinaison du bien et du beau, d\u00e9finissant les param\u00e8tres de la perfection humaine, m\u00ealant ses dimensions \u00e9thiques et esth\u00e9tiques.<\/h3>\n

C\u2019est donc m\u00fb par ce souci de l\u2019esth\u00e9tisme qu\u2019illy a fait le choix de promouvoir l\u2019art et la culture, et de soutenir des artistes ainsi que des expositions internationales. Rechercher des beaut\u00e9s in\u00e9dites, les trouver, les partager et les c\u00e9l\u00e9brer : tels sont les objectifs par lesquels se distingue notre culture entrepreneuriale. Nous sommes depuis 2003 partenaires de la Biennale de Venise, l\u2019une des expositions internationales d\u2019art contemporain les plus prestigieuses et importantes du monde organis\u00e9e tous les deux ans par la fondation de la Biennale. Nous supportons \u00e9galement les principales foires internationales d\u2019art contemporain, tel que l\u2019Artissima de Turin, l\u2019ArcoMadrid, l\u2019Asia Now, Paris International et Frieze, dont les expositions ont eu lieu \u00e0 New York, Los Angeles et S\u00e9oul.<\/p>\n

Nous souhaitons offrir aux jeunes talents une chance de renforcer leur visibilit\u00e9, d\u2019exp\u00e9rimenter et de se d\u00e9velopper gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des bourses et \u00e0 des projets d\u2019exposition. Voil\u00e0 pourquoi depuis 2001, nous soutenons \u00ab Present Future \u00bb, le prix d\u00e9cern\u00e9 par Artissima au projet jug\u00e9 le plus int\u00e9ressant parmi tous ceux expos\u00e9s dans la section de la exposition d’art consacr\u00e9e aux talents \u00e9mergents. De plus, depuis 2007, nous pr\u00e9sentons le prix illy SustainArt \u00e0 ARCOmadrid dans le but de stimuler la carri\u00e8re des jeunes cr\u00e9ateurs au niveau international, en leur offrant une opportunit\u00e9 concr\u00e8te de visibilit\u00e9, d’exp\u00e9rimentation et de croissance.<\/p>\n
